Knee replacement

lls started this conversation
I need a total knee replacement, but have no insurance. I have been quoted $16,000 for cash surgery, but do not have that. I don't qualify for medicaid because I own my house. They say my husband and I make to much money for assistance even though I clean houses and he works on commission at a flooring company. I can't go to Parkland cause I don't live in Dallas. I have been told if I don't have the surgery I will be in a wheelchair in a year then my work is gone. Where does someone turn that they don't want $16,000 and I have to have that paid off in 2 years. Do the math that is 666.00 per month. I can't do that. Where does someone turn. I will make payments but not that. I want to pay but I can't come up with large amounts upfront. Does anyone do this who doesn't want an arm and a leg up front?
